as a finalist in the Bayside Built Environment Awards 2012.

In its 7th year, the Bayside City Council Built Environment Awards showcase the expertise of building designers and encourage high standards of excellence in design within the municipality. The awards raise community awareness of design, landscape and heritage issues and publicly acknowledge architects and designers who have positively contributed to the city’s built environment. Every building site is unique and has its own complexities. It is the task of the designer to maximise the possibilities of the site and ensure that the building is complementary to its neighbourhood surrounds. The judging criteria includes responsiveness to neighbourhood character, streetscape quality, local identity, heritage, public places and the natural environment.
